Ellie is really good at remembering to pray before we eat. Here she is praying over a lovely meal that she has prepared, consisting of red plastic beads. Must be some kind of fancy pasta. 
Ellie has been fascinated with a few things lately. Pigtails with ribbons, counting fingers and toes, and writing stuff like her name and "lists." I keep thinking, "Man, she's gonna make homeschooling easy!" We sat down the other morning and colored (more than just the paper!) and talked about the letter "A a" and Apple. Doesn't she just look so grown up in this last picture? You can see it if you look past the green marker. I'm just so proud of my big girl. She is so smart and has a heart of gold.
